The Woodridge Kiwanis Club was formed in 1956 with the ideal of making a better community for Fallsburg Central School District youth and their families.  We have been working hard at this goal ever since.  At the current time, there are  26 members in our Club from all corners of the Town of Fallsburg, and beyond.  This is not just a “Woodridge” Kiwanis Club.  Everyone is welcome.

Volunteer Position Description


Kiwanis International brings the world together — one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 600,000 members in more than 80 countries from Kiwanis to Key Club to Circle K and beyond. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children through local service projects and fundraising. Kiwanis hosts nearly 150,000 service projects each year.



Position Title: Volunteer


Purpose: supporting the Woodridge Kiwanis Foundation (WKF) mission the volunteer represents the organization to the public.  


Key Responsibilities:

·         Assists prepare bulk mailings

·         Assists with events

·         Assists with website development

·         Assists with social media ads

·         Other duties as assigned


Responsible to: Club President


Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer and data entry. Basic knowledge of the Fallsburg community, knowledge of social media, a pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability.


Support: Training for this position will be provided.


Hours: Generally 4-6 hours per week during events or projects (Hours are on an as needed basis)
